April 8, 2022 - Thank you Scott. This wine is a beast. Incredible perfume, spice, chocolate, coffee. The palate is more amazing than the nose. It will fulfill your mouth. Crazy.

December 31, 2021 - Smooth as silk and full of flavor, but kind of subdued. Maybe it's our 83-year-old taste buds that don't work as well as they used to, but we couldn't get to the 97 others got. If I had known the replacement cost was $750 I would have sent it to Acker Merrall for auction!

August 17, 2019 - This is drinking beautifully. More stunning than the Moonracer. Poured from magnum.
The is beautifully ripe, ruby and lush. Blackberries all day, black raspberries, plum, some purple fruits. Expresso roast, sweet tarriness, soft leather, dry crushed rocks, caramel, both chocolates, baking spices for days, medium, dark spice, red & dark florals. Amazing acidity, balance and persistent, polished finish.
