August 14, 2016 - Was worried I'd kept it too long, but it was amazing. Cherries and leather.

May 11, 2013 - Wow! What in interesting bottle! As a 2007, I wouldn't expect this to be aged much, but the first look at it with it's leaning towards brick color says otherwise. The nose has a notable caramel, madiera character that also speaks of aging. In the mouth it is rich and full with loads of fruit, but still a distinct madiera flavor. Normally, I associate these characteristics with a wine that is on the downhill slope and it tends to be an overpowering note with the fruit and any other complexities far in the background. But because the fruit is so present in this bottle, it makes for a rather nice mix of the old and the new. The tasty blend makes me keep coming back for more.

For the price, this is a very nice bottle! I would not let this go any longer, as it seems to be at its best right now. Drink up!

December 25, 2011 - GREAT and unique wine... wonderful "punch" with appropriate balance. This one remains a great value... it's on the list every year, and it never disappoints.
