October 9, 2023 - This needed time. So much better on the second day. It was closed on the first day. Then good dark fruit and complexity with a little learher. Very nice big wine.

July 22, 2023 - I don't mind a little green, but the pyrazines in this bottle were out of control. Undrinkable, so left for the next day when the green notes had significantly pulled back but been replaced with pruney, oxidative notes. Fed it to the rhododendrons. Last bottle of a six pack with huge bottle variation over the four years we owned/drank them; happy they're gone.

April 29, 2023 - Soft and rich with a broad range of meat, fruit, blood and minerals. Black cherry seems dominate in the fruit. Long, but subtle finish.

February 3, 2023 - Excellent bottle. Smooth and supple - great depth of blackberries, earth, and a hint of coffee followed by a clean finish.
