May 19, 2022 - Ken's Cozy Cote Rotie's and some fine tequila's (Casa KT): Jammy nose with notes of cherry, cassis and raspberry. Silky feel on the palate with good acidity. Groups 2/4 (my 3/4)

April 15, 2019 - Découvertes en Vallée du Rhône; 4/15/2019-4/16/2019 (Ampuis, Mauves and Tain-l'Hermitage): Walk-around tasting, talking to the producers. Bright black cherry and berry on nose and palate with very good energy. Very fresh, but also good+ weight. 92+ potential, this should drink well young, 2021-.

February 9, 2019 - Earth and herbs pop right away before reaching all that sweet, silky, fresh, red fruit. The tannins are soft, the wine has lift and energy, leaving with you a trail of olives and fresh cherries in the finish.

December 11, 2018 - A week in the Northern Rhone; 12/7/2018-12/15/2018 (Lyon, Vienne, Ampuis, Chavanay, Hermitage, Cornas, St. Joseph, Condrieu & Paris): Tasted at the Domaine. Primarily from Cote Brune - aged in oak (20% new/ 80% used). Super young still, with lots of structure. Dark currants and blackberry, pepper and spices with grippy tannins and a spine of acidity. Not very accessible at this point - needs at least 8-10 years.
