  August 11, 2023 - Pop 'n' pour. Initially, it was closed and frankly flat. After almost exactly 45 minutes, it suddenly developed an outstanding finish, although not much else had changed. On Day Two, however, it was a whole 'nuther ballgame. Now, it displayed a nice, but somewhat shy nose - black and blue fruits with a hint of vanilla. That fruit almost exploded on the palate, filling my mouth and seamlessly transitioning to a stellar finish. Although I haven't tasted them side-by-side, I think I like this even more than the Carlisle zin from Limerick Lane, which is about the highest praise I can give it. Pretty sure this wine still has a bright future ahead of it.

  July 4, 2023 - Decanted for 2+ hours. Excellent! Really enjoyable on many levels. The aroma has a brambly berry thing going on. The flavors were predominantly purple and dark blue fruits. So well balanced. Great mouthfeel. Just the right amount of spice and zing to make you want more - maybe a lot more! Alas, this is my last bottle.

  July 7, 2022 - A splendid wine that lived up to the most complementary notes below and in many cases exceed them. With all of the Bedrock SKUs how do they treat their wine so consistently well - bringing the most out of the vineyards.

  November 6, 2021 - Agree with previous CTers' notes, this is an excellent zinfandel! What impressed me was the balance. Great fruit flavors with some briar as others have noted. I suspect it will continue to improve for another 5 years. I'm not sure about the CT suggested window extending to 2032. It is drinking well now with a 3+ hour decant.
