June 3, 2023 - Broad shouldered and muscular, this wine flashes its petite sirah bruteness in a forward, but also elegant way. I'd even venture to say that it has a tad bit of an iron fist in a velvet glove sort of thing going on. Wild and densely packed, but also a nice grainy and silky like textture too. Plum, dark raspberry, some lavender, balsamic and blackberries...wild. Not very broad or expansive, even a little monolithic, but still, some layers of complexity. I don't know. All sorts of things going on here.....Funnnnn!

April 29, 2023 - Thin (almost bordering on watery) and overly tart/tannic. Was expecting much more from this wine given the pedigree and horizontal time its been given.
