  March 31, 2023 - Nose floral aromatics, seawater, pear. Palate still fresh, acidic and chiseled minerals with a delicate floral and a bit of citrus. This is so delicate and pretty yet substantive in structure. This hits so far above $ and appellation expectations.

The mineral and hint of salinity from the wine was PERFECT with the fresh. Sweet meaty quality of all we were eating. This producer, vintage after vintage is one of the most consistent and scrumptious in the Garagiste stable. We order multiple bottles of each style. This was a ‘17 and still had the effervescent lift like it was bottled last year.

  November 3, 2019 - Very similar to my experience back in July. Quite nice for a sunny fall day, balanced, mineral driven, crisp, and fresh.

  July 12, 2019 - Although I didn’t notice it in the glass, there was most definitely a spritz in the chilling decanter. Displays a pale lemon green hue with a medium minus body. Very refreshing, crisp, and mineral driven aromas and flavors: upfront salty, and white rock minerality with sour grapefruit, tangy lime, unripe / barely ripe white peach, and green apple. The high acidity provides freshness, crispness, and supports a fairly long finish. One of the better Portuguese whites I’ve enjoyed in quite some time.
  
  If you enjoy dry Riesling, Muscadet, or a cool climate Sauvignon Blanc, chances are you’ll enjoy this. Paired wonderfully with an arugula spinach salad and balsamic vinaigrette with blackened Halibut.
