November 26, 2023 - good, and tasting very very young so maybe upside, but not a great QPR (at $220 -- incl tax / shpmt -- recently)... would rather buy some old Ridge Monte Bello for a little more

July 11, 2022 - Classic mature Napa cab. Luxurious texture, complex nose, wonderfully integrated. A well-stored bottle will hold up for a little while longer, as long as you enjoy tertiary cabs.

August 22, 2021 - A bit subdued, but suave, supple on the palate, dark fruits and plums. Satisfying long finish. Could use more complexity.

August 21, 2021 - Drinking great at this moment. This was served blind, in a zalto uni. It has some black cherry and scorched earth, but enough old library styled tertiary notes with a hint of green pepper that I was thinking right bank bordeaux. The pure red cherry finish should have given away Napa floor to me, but nonetheless this wine showed fantastic. Great resolution, nuance, and development, with further room to improve.

May 27, 2021 - Drinking very well now with a softer texture than the Howell Mtn. Very Bordeaux-like with good freshness and lots of graphite minerals on the finish. Very smooth and fine and I enjoyed drinking this and pegged it blind as a second growth Bordeaux from the '90's.
