  October 13, 2022 - WINE & SPIRITS TOP 100, SAN FRANCISCO (San Francisco, Ca.): Nose of black fruit, same on the palate, medium body, mouth filling fruit, tasty. tart, needs three years to peak, mouth filling fruit, simple, long finish, need tof revisit, some good here and some bad, unusual result for a Bill Easton Zinfandel, nice to chat with Bill tonight.

  September 17, 2022 - On day one this was a little too ripe for me - good, and very "zinny" but not overly refined or complicated. Luckily, because it was so rich, I drank it over a few days. By day 3 this thing was out of this world - much more integrated and balanced. Vert subtle, very tasty. I'd suggest a heavy decant or waiting a few more years on this. Day 1 score is like 88, day 3 score is like 93, so I am giving it a 90.

  December 14, 2021 - The oak leaps from the glass, then the deep, dark, ripe fruit aromas. Big flavor, and very round, with good body and alcohol coming through on the palate. Good now, but I expect it will be better, hopefully more mellow and integrated, after a few more years.
