December 15, 2022 - An hour or two of air helps. Comes around to a fairly typical flavor profile, though not terribly inspired. Looks like others here liked more than I. 89-90

August 16, 2022 - Evening session at ESBK. Tasted blind. Drank in Grassl Cru. Pop and poured.
Appearance is clear, pale intensity, ruby colour with thin garnet rim. Legs.
Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of polished red and black cherries, fresh tar, emerging fragrant balsamic. Developing.
On the palate, dry, high acidity, high alcohol (14.5%), well-structured high tannins, full body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of ripe red cherries, polished black cherries, tar earth, emerging balsamic and fresh leather. Long finish.
Very good quality. Well-structured relatively young Brunello with lots of poise and polish. Will age well.

July 14, 2022 - Really nice! Elegant, soft and pretty, nice acidity, silky and opened up after 30-60 minutes.

July 16, 2020 - Wow, was prepared to let this spend a few hours aerating in decanter, but it wasn't necessary. That said, it did improve through the final glass, with the bright, almost crunchy red fruits, soil, and attractive floral and leather notes drawing me in with each glass. Excellent, and should drink well for the next 15+ years. highly recommended
