February 8, 2010 - My experience was much different than the two others who have reviewed this wine. This might be because I decanted it for over eight hours but still, this was a lovely wine. Classic piedmont nose, would have guessed nebbiolo over barbera if tasted blind. Lots of black fruit, not jammy in the way some barbera's are. Very enjoyable

August 17, 2007 - hard to get a good read- my fault for not decanting properly - WAY too much sediment, almost unlike anything I've seen before - and the bottle was not stood upright. Hence, had trouble getting the sediment out and it provided an unpleasant taste and texture.
