  January 25, 2023 - Haven't been a fan of many of my library purchases from VA. They have not done well in the bottle IMO (and this one is only 7 year along). Opens up a little in the glass from the initial impression - cherry skin, grape stems, a little dusty soil. On the palette - slightly fruitier with high acidity and medium-firm tannic grip. The body is too thin for me to appreciate these types of flavor though and that is what I believe has been lacking in their other wines as well. Not bad and was absolutely drinkable alongside a large plate of spaghetti. Drink now.

  May 22, 2021 - Fine food, Bar food, it doesn't make a difference; the grapes rise to the occasion--and tonight was no exception. Always the best treatment at Vintage Sports Bar.
