July 6, 2011 - kind of bodiless. Brought it to a Thai dinner thinking that a Malbec would be good for spicy food, but it was really quite disappointing.

January 4, 2009 - More fruit forward than the last bottle...less interesting.

February 8, 2008 - Subtle dark fruit. Not much more to note. Okay. (Vineyard Brands/Nappi)

January 10, 2008 - Thursday Night 5 for $5 (The Grapevine - Pocatello, ID): Red berry, cassis, spice, smoky. Great body, mouth feel and balance.

January 9, 2008 - Tasted Blind. Some stinky cheese initially dominating the nose with some plum coming through as well. Very high sweaty acidity, leather components that carry right to the back of the throat, tannins integrated, fruit not dominant. Very good wine but difficult to describe, mostly secondary components showing through. Wow, great QPR!
