April 28, 2024 - Gorgeous tonight. No notes, but just perfect. Happy I stocked up, sad I didn't do more.

From anther member's recent TN, this is from the original importer (Schatzi), and is beautiful

April 27, 2024 - I put flawed or defective because this bottle is from the current distributor and it does not taste like the bottles I have from the original distributor/importer who originally brought this in. I also found the same thing with the current importers versions of the 2014s from this producer. This has a slightly caramelized taste and flavor and notes to it that I did not have in the bottles that I originally got. I have another bottle from this importer and I will hopefully try it soon. That being said the one is enjoyable and pleasurable but certainly not as good as the original imported version. It still has good acidity and minerality but a slight caramel note. Therefore into my taste not as good as the originally imported bottles

December 9, 2023 - Light gold color. Minimally crunchy apple bouquet. This has lost its baby fat but it is still very youthful. Very concentrated with Incredible acidity matched with Incredible fruit. Flavors of tart green apple, citrus, sleep, minerals, Stone. It's got such intensity of flavor it almost is crunchy. And Incredibly long acidic finish. Unfortunately I cannot do justice with the description. It is an absolute amazing phenomenal bottle of wine. It is truly a home run. This should last for decades. Can drink now or enjoy over time. Over the top all-time QPR winner. A must-have.

October 5, 2023 - Another stellar showing even in a very warm Sukkah. Light gold color. Bouquet of granny smith apple, mineral, flint, stone, slate with a hint of petrol. On the palate warm baked apple caramel flavors mix with incredible acidity and granny smith apple flavors followed by mineral, salt, slate, stone and a long acidic finish. While this is transitioning to older mature flavors it still has a youthful side. The acidity of this along with the fruit portends a long life ahead. If you like older German Rieslings, you will really like this one with age. Drink now to 2035, probably 2045. Incredible QPR. Great dry food wine but so good you can sip on it

October 1, 2023 - Nose: petrol, hint of exotic fruit. In mouth: good acidity but not overwhelming, very distinct plum note after a moment, good finish where the acidity and fruit combine to suggest almost kumquat. My first time trying this wine but doesn’t seem to suggest a silent period as suggested by other tasters. This was recently purchased from Germany so assume perfect storage.

Excellent complexity and balance throughout and definitely at top end of kosher white wine.
