  November 13, 2022 - Still a dynamic Gigondas, quite assertive and yet unpolished — a result of either little or no oak influence. Alcohol is apparent. Give this one at least another 5 years. 75% Grenache, 20% Syrah, 5% Mourvèdre.
  
  (10/5/2018) Medium-dark. Grenache dominates, with a typical grenache salty finish. Not a big wine. Greatly improves with air. Ready to drink now but will improve with time. Compare to a Châteauneuf-du-Pape, yet priced less.

  May 9, 2022 - Don't drink a lot of Southern Rhones but this bottle just didn't do much for me at this stage. Bottles a couple years ago were better but the leathery Mourvedre dominated this and Grenache fruit was lost. Bottle variation or maybe just not my favorite style.

  January 23, 2019 - A full-throttle Grenache with a not insignificant dose of leathery, band-aidey Mourvedre. This could age for an additional decade, but it has suffered from being the most approachable wine in my cellar. Every bit as good as many NewPopes, but only $20!
