May 19, 2019 - Slo-oxed for about 15 minutes, and continued to open during the meal. At this time, a 15 minute decant would serve you well. A no nonsense blend of Zinfandel and Petite Sirah. Described by the winery as "...an iron fist in a velvet glove, with equal parts power and finesse."
Loads of red and purple fruits, a good dose of pepper, a touch of spice, acidity to balance, integrated tannins, and maybe even some fruity "sweetness". Should continue to evolve over the next several years, and continue to delight for several more.
