Community Tasting Notes 24

April 16, 2023 - Note consistent with the previous one 1 1/2 years ago. opens up over time, and still better the following day, with the wood fully integrated in the nose and a shy, elegant fruit showing that this is not just a simple "Bourgoge AOC". In the mouth also very good, some roasty wood notes, light to medium body, well balanced. Will hold some more years.

March 22, 2022 - Still hanging on - it is light as you might expect but still drinkable

September 7, 2021 - Pretty primary but already a good quaff. Sweet and bright red fruit with a crunchy core, a tad simple right now and still tannic. Probably better in 2 years.

July 27, 2021 - Pretty good overall, a tad simple but what can you expect from a $29 Bourgogne. Bright cherry with some hints of candied raspberry. I do not get any earthy elements in this wine, just bright fruit that has good acidity and ample depth for it's price.

July 9, 2021 - Shy nose, maybe some old wood, cooked cherries. Low to medium volume, cherries again, vivid acidity, very present and quite noble tannins.
