  • Tony Molester Likes this wine:

October 24, 2018 - Wax seal. Cork broke when pulled. Dried out.
    Red with browning meniscus.
Aromas of dry herbs and cherry. Blind it could be mistaken for an italian wine. Palate offers further similarities. long and savoury, quite delicious. More dried herbs (thym, rosemary). Very sapid and moreish.

A great surprise to both my wife and i. Happy to have another bt. This is tasting very well at the moment, so there is no compelling reason to wait, however it will likely keep until at least 2022.

February 1, 2009 - Sperbowl Wines: The shocker in the lineup for me. I guessed Sangiovese blind, but thought it was a California Sangiovese...this was not just drinkable, but very enjoyable. Very much in a similar style to Montevertine's Pian del Ciampolo. Best TX wine 've ever had by a landslide.

June 12, 2008 - A nice food wine, it's a typical Italian in style...but it's from the TX hill country. One of the bext TX wines we've had.
