December 25, 2019 - Pale gold in color, this wine showed subtle rose petals, nectarine, apricot and minerals on the nose. The mouth feel brought noticeable sweetness with subtle hints of spiciness along with white pepper and cinnamon. The finish was somewhat short in length with the acidity in balance with the fruit. 11.7% abv.

Purchased for $11US, this wine was fun to sample but it clearly lacks the intense aromatics of this varietal.

October 3, 2019 - Pale lemon colour, almost water-like. A very subtle, light, elegant wine
Aromas on the nose include lychee (of course!), ripe apricot, orange blossom, vanilla-poached pear, peach, tonic water, ginger, and cinnamon.
Medium low acid, but still extremely juicy.
Great viscosity and mouthfeel — high alcohol.
A subtle, careful wine best enjoyed indoors, with minimal distractions, with or without food.
(In my case, enjoyed both on its own and then paired with Sichuan cuisine).

July 1, 2019 - On the lighter side of medium bodied, which makes sense given the 12% alcohol. Well balanced. Typicity is apparent more on the nose than the palate. Would make for a solid summer sipper.
