September 22, 2020 - Five hour decant. Nearly opaque purple color. Paint primer, Concorde grape jelly, blackberry, new leather, and anise on the nose. Smooth, dry, chalky palate, with lingering, tongue drying acidity. Firm, full tannins on the long finish.
