May 24, 2020 - Bright medium gold color; distinct initial aroma of fresh orange zest which blows off leaving pungent and piercing classic notes of mature Chardonnay. The dry extract and acidity have become more prominent making it slightly less balanced and less profoundly enjoyable. Still quite good but drink up!

May 13, 2019 - This took a bit of time to come around aromatically, for me. White chocolate laden ripe apricot fruit, honey, buttery aromas. Good acidity that shows energy and poise to otherwise ripe flavors. More hints of vanilla and toffee come around with more typical lemon custard, floral hints with time in the glass. Took a good 30-45 minutes to show more transparency for me. No rush in drinking either.

June 9, 2012 - Really for the cru this was well below par. One of those wines that gives burgundy a bad name. Expensive but showing that there are still some average made grand cru wines which arent as enjoyable as a well made Bourgogne. That's exactly what this is. Unenjoyable, flat, phenolic wine with no soul and almost undrinkable. Rubbish.

After reading comments I have to think that my bottle was stuffed.

December 27, 2010 - Opened for about an hour. Brilliant gold hue. Still has tremendous youthfulness but is very drinkable at the moment. Pear, vanilla prominent. Excellent structure Long finish.
