December 24, 2019 - Deep purple; Med intensity, developing aromas. Primary aromas of black fruit (blackberry, grape, blueberry, dark cherries), dried fruit (jam, raisen, prune, dried cherries), herbal (medicinal, lavender), pungent spice (liquorice, pepper, anise), floral (violets, roses) and wet stones. Secondary aromas from oak (vanilla, baking spices, cinnamon, nutmeg, dill, toast) and tertiary aromas from bottle age (earth, savoury, soil, tobacco, forest floor). Dry, med acid, med tannin, med body, high alcohol, medium intensity and medium finish. Flavors reflect the aromas. This is a very good wine; drink now, not suitable for aging.

July 15, 2019 - Great QPR. Very well balanced, not overly sweet, modest complexity. Definitely of the best $10 bottles I've stumbled across in the last year.
