April 8, 2021 - Loved this, drank along with a Myriad petaluma Syrah that was also excellent. This was BIG, full of dark fruit, meat and pepper.

April 9, 2020 - Crunchy with plenty of acid, bright red fruit. Decanted for 4 hours. It was better on the second day. Needs time to really integrate.

February 7, 2020 - Enjoyed but not amazing. Very dark, lot of tannins and phenols doing some great stuff on the finish, with more to come I'm sure (and I loved that aspect). But a bit more residual sugar than I prefer, so up front it was a bit out of balance for me before we got to that finish.

December 3, 2019 - Really fresh berry fruit on the nose. A little spice on the back half of the nose. Layered flavors in the mouth. Black dark berries, black olive, tobacco flavors. Got better as it went along. Decanted for about two hours after an initial PnP.
