Community Tasting Notes 5

July 31, 2020 - Best EPU I have ever tasted. This was very robust, with round tannins a lively acidity. Fruit and wood in great harmony. We had this wine at the same time as the Don Melchor 2016. Although I usually find the Don a
better wine, this time the 2015 Epu held its own. It was a real tie. The Epu was slightly more robust and took longer to open whereas the Don was a bit more elegant, but both were equally complex.
