December 22, 2020 - Subdued fragrance of plum with earthy undertones. Plum and dark cherry up front proceeds to prune, tobacco, and a touch of spice I can’t quite name. Soft lingering tannins. Not a lot of complexity. Enjoyed over the course of an evening following a 3 hour decant. Would be better with food and should pair nicely with lamb or braised brisket.
