July 6, 2013 - Aromas of currants and blueberry. Decanted for 1 hour. (Could have used longer decanting) Rich chocolate, blueberry, some spice and graphite notes. Exceptional value on an a 18+ year old wine.

April 26, 2013 - (Made from 3-year-old vines.) Could not ask for better cork seal and condition on an 18-year-old wine. This is an incredible bottle of Cabernet, the nose immediately expressive upon decanting, giving off ripe, youthful, classic aromas of red currants and red raspberry, milk chocolate, graphite, and deeper smoke and woodspice notes. Focused and highly concentrated palate, there's a ripe and sweet edge to the pomegranate, currant, and cherry juice flavors, milk chocolate also coming through on the palate, plenty of freshness, firm and tannic on the finish. This bottle could have gone another 10 years.
