August 25, 2015 - Straight Bourgogne bottle. Decanted 1h. Pale ruby-translucent. A: Nice. Red cherries, rhubarb, herbs and a hint of sous bois. P: Earth, bark, pomegranate, tart cherry, and tannin on midpalate. F: Rhubarb, tart cherry, earth and tannins. Moderately long.

November 23, 2014 - Similar to previous tastings. Tart cranberries, citrus flavors with a bit of earth and herbs to add some complexity. Elegant and lithe with a bit of earthy grit. Tasted over 2 days.

November 1, 2014 - Similar to a month ago. Lithe, elegant, tart red cherry and cranberry flavors with some earth and bark. Lithe and elegant package. With air, gain some intensity of fruit but still in a light and airy package.

September 7, 2014 - This is the straight Bourgogne, not the Les Grands Champs. Decanted for 2 hrs. Pure fruit aromas of tart cherry and cranberry, a hint of dirt and bark. Palate follows in an elegant lithe, almost delicate package. Citrus/grapefruit with mild tannins in mid-palate to a lingering finish of tart cherries, cranberries and grapefruit. Nicely done.
