October 4, 2019 - Not quite the knockout that the 2016 is, but very impressive. Bright fruit ranging from tarter citrus and apple to more peachy and faintly tropical flavours with more bright herbal and zesty notes keeping the richer elements in check, and good acidity balancing out the luscious sweetness. Leftovers actually seem more focused a couple of days later and I'll leave my other bottles alone to see what happens with time.

October 4, 2019 - Indianapolis V; 10/4/2019-10/5/2019 (Indianapolis, IN): #18-18, 7.5% abv. Slightly herbal nose, with some tart green elements. A nice tart bit of fruit on the palate and there's good electricity here. Plenty of lovely acidity and some delicious fruit. Despite all the lovely elements here, it's not quite the same intensity as the 2016, not that I'd ever turn down a glass.

May 19, 2019 - Just a baby, but what incredible energy! Almost crunchy acidity and minerality running through this wine. Crystalline is a great word for it. Lime, lemongrass, and fresh soft herbs. The sweetness is there, but the laser sharp acidity and oyster shell iodine type note really kept the palate light and racy.

March 17, 2018 - Young wine tasting "2017 - Einzigartig. Zum Lachen und zum Weinen schön" (Weingut Keller, Flörsheim-Dalsheim, Germany): Yellow and white fruit besides some citrus and citrus zest on the nose. Light and dancing on the palate. So drinkable and really a Spätlese, not a Auslese labeled as SL.
