September 23, 2015 - Impressively good for a ~$10 Bordeaux at 10 years. I can no longer recall why I bought it, but while rustic it has plenty of Bordeaux characteristics and was good both alone and with a simple meal of cheese, bread and salad.

July 18, 2014 - My last bottle of a case, this won't win any awards for finesse, but I have to admit this has evolved from the belligerent gangster of a Two Buck Chuck it was to becoming civilized and drinkable. Maybe even tasty. Given that I awarded this some of the lowest scores ever given by me to a non-flawed red, I have to eat a little crow here. Not bad.

August 20, 2013 - I wasn't expecting much from this very petit chateau, and SAWIRA's recent and helpful note led me to expect even less. But I was quietly surprised on the first day that the wine showed relatively fresh fruits balanced with some tannin and acidity. On the second day, everything has softened considerably, but it's still quite pleasant to drink with food. But there are apparently 75 bottles in cellars and I'd advise folks to drink up. I see that this property has now been bought by a Chinese investor.

July 28, 2013 - This is still driven by tannins, with the woody fruit holding on. Some nice sour plum and blackberry flavors, with an herbal, green edge. Not as horrible as I remember, this still has a long way to go to be in my wheelhouse, but is drinking quite well actually. I'd say this is coming out of its clumsy - no, make that downright belligerent - phase to be starting its peak. Where it will go from here, who knows, but it has significant tannins. I just think the balance is off.

May 12, 2012 - A year ago, this was drinking much better. When this was young, it could not be beat for a really inexpensive $12 or under Bordeaux. It seems to be in decline now. The tannins I remember were almost gone. The fruit was starting to head into the stewed range. Drink up.
