November 1, 2023 - Beautiful, ethereal, a dream. Significant ullage but the color was good and the bottle was singing and only picked up with air. Brine, forest floor, violets, sweet fruits, the length and complexity was remarkable. Everything I could hope.

November 17, 2017 - Thirteenth Annual White Truffle Dinner (Chez Weber - Chicago IL): Late night taste, brief note. Popped-and-poured. Ullage approx 8 cm, so low fill, low expectations. Rich and sweet fruit clearly coming through in the background, but alongside a strong madeirized/ oxidized character that wasn't quite as much fun. Still, so much fun. 90 points for charm?
