Community Tasting Notes 1

  • geoffjb Does not like this wine:

December 25, 2018 - Medium ruby in colour. The initial aroma was not enjoyable, although that improved over time. I couldn't get much of an aroma beyond the black currant. The body was a bit thin with low tannins and high acidity. It was fairly sweet, puckering, and tangy, with no complexity beyond the one-dimensional fruit (black currant). The sour hits your lips first, then the sweetness. I found it a stretch to call this wine; it was more like a very tart lemonade. I would not seek this wine out again.
