Community Tasting Notes 2

May 6, 2017 - Bright, energetic, filled with wild red berries, violets, and savory tomato leaf. Chalky, mineral soil and racy wild berry acidity provide lift and interest throughout. Long, balanced finish. Excellent!

October 18, 2016 - Nose is earthy with hints licorice and tobacco; palate is acidic but round with notes of blackberry and dark cherry. I would have wanted a bit more complexity here and it is probably not the best value at almost $40 a bottle here in NYC, but it is still a good wine; would pair well with game meats or some heritage (i.e. well-marbled) pork.
