May 16, 2019 - Light gold with a fine mousse. Green apple, honey, brioche, citrus, with still enough acidity to have that fine DP flinty finish. This feels entirely ready now and although I'm not sure it will improve, this should stay here for several more years. Not as big as the '96, 02, or even the '06, but this is really quite good.

May 2, 2019 - Dinner at Imperial Treasure TPC. Golden straw colored. Mouthfilling with fine mousse, zesty notes of brioche and citrus fruits. Pleasantly evolved, richer, has good weight without the sharp acidity of NV or younger vintage champagnes. More complex than a 2009 DP recently tasted.

April 20, 2019 - Light golden yellow in colour, showing a little age - very gentle pétillant. Rich, flavoursome brioche nose with light tropical fruit - intense. Palate showing light bubbles, very clear & attractive toastyness - some light citrus (lime) & gentle pineapple. Long, long persistence. Very good & fully mature.

    February 24, 2019 - Sunday/Daughter's (35th) Birthday dinner with family.
My last two bottles and showing excellently. Persistent foaming mousse, russet apple, green herb, bready nuances and an almost saline minerality. All perfectly integrated with plenty of zesty acidity for balance. Has broadened out since its last outing in 2016 and is much the better for it.
Fully mature and for drinking over next couple of years.

January 18, 2019 - Fine bubbles of good intensity. Honey, caramel, bread and citrus. Structured, creamy, alcohol slightly present, high acidity and medium-long finish.

(Dom Pérignon) Classic Dom Pérignon: Light in color and body, fresh, and slightly yeasty, with back notes of apple and Bosc pear and a streak of chalky minerality. Fine, persistent bead. Soft and elegant.
