January 14, 2019 - Oog: Helder, intens, karmijn rood, kleine doorzichtigheid (voor een pinot!), gevulde meniscus, grote viscositeit, veel licht gekleurde tranen.
Neus: Aanvankelijk gesloten, zuiver, na walsen vol tot intens. Aroma van framboos maar bijzonder zwart fruit (zwarte bes, braambes, vlierbes), dode bladeren, chocolade, rokerig, vanille, zachte kruidigheid.
Mond: Wijn met boddy, mondvullend, tannine en zuren (+1), molligheid (+0.5) en een lange afdronk van 5 à 6 sec. Wijn kan nu al gedronken worden maar zeker nog 6 - 8 jaar ouderen. Top Bourgogne voor deze prijs van 23,75€. -

July 27, 2018 - IPNC Weekend 2018; 7/26/2018-8/2/2018 (Linfield College, McMinnville, OR): Small glass over an hour. Nice. Dark tart berry, firm, licorice, young but promising, concentrated, 18 months aging, 20% new oak.
