January 13, 2021 - Wonderful when opened on 1/13/21, even better when finished on 1/14/21. Lots of fruit, enough tannic backbone to keep it from being at all flabby, just a delicious wine that I would love to have lots more of.

February 21, 2019 - very extracted, purple, plums and dark fruits, very odd iridescent sheen floating on top of wine that did not affect the taste or aromatics, lush mouth feel, long finish, atypical for Oregon Pinot, a new stylistic trend?

May 11, 2018 - Double decanted about an hour before serving and served with a pasta dish with which it was an OK, but not a great match. Mostly wanted to try this Oregon Pinot. Nose was initially very closed in with a touch of plums, roses and spices, good acidity, mid-range and finish. However, this is one of those wines in which one can recognize the quality but the wine is not a good fit with one's preferences. This wine is more on the Northern California side of fruit and intensity, and I prefer the Oregon and Burgundy Pinot Noirs. This wine will definitely hold and improve for 6-10 years and should be much better in about 5 years as the fruit begins to tone down and the complexity may begin to emerge.
