September 27, 2023 - Full-flavored and tannic. Blackberry, plum, and sour cherries on the palate. No detectable oak. This is delicious and my wife and I both enjoyed. PnP at cellar temp. No shame in drinking now but quite youthful and will age for many years.

April 2, 2022 - Impressive wine - very nice balance of red fruit and tannins, 1 hour decant, will continue to evolve over the next 3 to 5 - word of caution at 16%

April 5, 2021 - Very pleasant after 1 - 2 hours breathing. Lots of tasty dark fruit & not much acid. Wish I had more but not at $110.

February 12, 2021 - 1/6. Well, it was time to give this a go and see what all the fuss is about. Very deep and dark in appearance, almost purple on the rim. On the nose there are blackberries, plums, chocolate, Garrigue and oak. There is also a sweet, candied element that I sometimes find in old vine Grenache from the southern Rhone. On the palate this is so smooth and silky with a little tannic grip on the back end. Juicy dark fruit flavours with a hint of cedar and spice. Medium in weight and finish, fantastic balance.

Decanted two hours before dinner which helped but wasn't enough. A further 3-4 hours later it was starting to open up. So I would say delicious now with at least a six hour decant and in another five years it's going to be even better.

April 4, 2020 - Deep ruby colour. Pronounce aroma of very fresh red fruit and oak. Unfortunately, no pepper. On the palate, dry, med acid, copper, red fruit, vanilla, fantastically integrated tannins. Amazing with dry rub pork baby back ribs.
