December 25, 2022 - {diam} A little bit of yeastiness on the nose. Sound champagne flavours, white fruit dominant. Lively but not crude bubbles. Medium weight, dry; not complex but for A$26 at Aldi you shouldn't complain. Nothing wrong with this; all the basics are here.

March 21, 2022 - Much better+ a lot more Champagne like with nice chalky complexity, some brioche and bready notes decent perlage, nice texture and good aromas, flavours and length. 12.5%. Excellent value at 12 Euros.

April 14, 2021 - 89/90. I don't drink Champagne often, only with family. However this is very good for the price at 12.99 Euros. This has typical aromas of bread, stone fruits, vanilla, minerals and veggie hints. Its medium bodied solid yet weightless, lightly briochey white fruits palate has nice perlage and very good depth, lovely freshness and ends medium long. 12.5%.

December 28, 2019 - Aldi Süd sells this champagne currently for 13 EUR. Being sceptical before tasting I have to admit now, that this is not bad at all. Unmistakenly this tastes champagne with a precise red fruit à la pinot noir, combined with yeasty and bready notes, which may not be the most expressive but noticable. Colour and perlage suggest that this bottle was only recently disgorged. A certain lack of body is conceiled by a rather high dosage. While it can't deny being somehow a "champagne light", it is still well made and certainly a fun to drink.
