    March 21, 2013 - nice

February 26, 2011 - When first released, this vintage of Gastronome did not sing like the 1999 or 2000 did at the same stage. It seemed as if the dosage hadn't integrated and the wine laid a bit flat and flabby on the tongue. Now at nine, it's drinking superbly! Wish I'd saved my other bottles and had them to drink now...

November 18, 2010 - Very nice and holding up really well - lots of life still. Nice classic Champagne flavors. Drank with the wife to celebrate our first day of self-employment.

December 24, 2008 - Rich roast nuts on the nose, and very linear and controlled - just a lovely nose that expanded to include floral notes with air time. I doubt that I would have caught that this wine is bottled under lower pressure (4 bars) than most Champagne (6 bars) had I not already known, as the bubbles were medium-fine and the texture quite typical. Good acidity support the delicate flavors of toasty nuts, vanilla cream, and chalky minerals that extend through the fragrant finish. This is excellent wine and will probably get better with a few more years in the bottle.

August 22, 2008 - Very nice and crisp, but I prefer the NV Cuis to this and dont think this will last over the long haul. Drink up.
