October 6, 2018 - Decanted for 4 hours. Ripe nose and darker fruit profile on the nose - licorice, black cherry, blackcurrant, and a touch of oak. Palate is medium-bodied with nice acidity.I get black cherry, cough syrup, and some wood. Still very primary but tasty nonetheless. Moderate tannins allow the wine to be enjoyed now with a decant. I see this being best in 5-7 years.
