July 30, 2022 - Yves Gras & sons are Gigondas based winemakers. The parcels used for this wine are situated in villages in the neighbourhood: Vacqueyras, Rasteau, Roaix and Séguret, therefore the wine is classified as Côtes du Rhône but it can easily be held for a Gigondas.
This is a broad and full bodied wine, spicy as well as elegant with tones of cedar and black fruit. Still very well balanced. In its beautiful complexity this 2016 shows an amazing completeness. Soft tannin and a lingering aftertaste. Now perfect.
    Organic wine.

June 30, 2019 - Impressive for the price by the end of day 2, but overall impression was a cheaper wine, a bit short and watery minerality. And a strange impression of apple juice at times.

September 15, 2018 - Retailer tasting, brief note. A blend of 70% Grenache, 15% Syrah, 10% Mourvèdre 10%, and 5% Carignan, Cinsault and Clairette. From the villages Vaqueyras, Rasteau, Roaix and Séguret. Supple, nice liquoreux in the fruit, juicy and well balanced, gentle tannins, a lovely everyday wine.
