December 22, 2019 - Young vines, 75% syrah, 25% merlot. Was a bit pungent until 60 minutes of air or so. Agree with the description in the TN below--primary, sappy syrah but think this will begin hitting its stride with a year more in bottle.

July 19, 2019 - Faux 4th of July - Wine & Friends weekend in NH; 7/19/2019-7/20/2019 (New London, NH): Wine #6. Much better experience than the first outing back in March. Popped and poured this time. Sappy and juicy young syrah with some cracked black pepper among the red and black berries. Still super young but paired well with burgers.

March 1, 2019 - Decanted for about an hour. Last summer we fell in love with the Les Marecos Blanc - saw this on the shelf and decided to give the Rouge a try. Not as big a fan here - very young syrah. A bit of band aid on the nose - lots of dark fruit and grippy tannins, some hints of savoriness - but all just too tight and young.
