June 4, 2006 - Strong nose of cherries, strawberries, tobacco, and a little pepper. The aromatics of this grape for some reason tend to remind me of Pinot noir. Very good, still focused with good purity. A little jammy, but overall a very strong showing. A very good medium bodied, aromatic expression of Malbec. It's probably not getting any better so drink it sooner than later!
