December 23, 2023 - Great expressive nose and a silky palate with a fresh long finish. Some oriental sweet spice, citrus, lots of berries. I don’t get any asphalt so happy about that. Drinking great right now and even better when slightly chilled.

January 14, 2022 - Schon die Nase ringt einem alles ab… Konzentrierte rote und teilweise auch schwarze Frucht, Kirsche und Cassis. Krautwürze, Zeder, Stein, Salz, Graphit. Am Gaumen sortentypische Säure, nicht fett, aber ordentlich Tannin. Hätte reifen können und sollen. Auch jetzt schon famos, unendlich lang, mineralisch, komplex. Mencia auf höchstem Niveau! (96-97+)

Let’s see, take every herb you have in the garden, make a nice little bunch, toss them on the pavement and then back over them with some fresh Good Year tires, and then add some citrus zest and blackberries. In my 20 years of elevating this hobby from casual to connoisseur I have never tasted anything like this before. And I loved it.

April 27, 2021 - Pale ruby,medium(+) blossom,raspberry,ripe fruit,wed stones,wet leaf,vanilla,dry,very high acidity,ripe medium tannin, medium alcohol,medium body,medium finish,good wine.
