January 21, 2024 - Gorgeous, fresh white Burgundy. Nose has lime oil and chalk depth; real intensity and quality. Palate really focused and rich too. Mini Meusault under DIAM. Cracking.

1. Coche-Bizouard 2016 Bourgogne Blanc Chardonnay
C : Straw gold with green glint.
N: Chalk & green plums.
T: Tart green plums infused in chalk and crushed seashells offset with a buttery undertow, then developing an exquisitely long finish.
I: This was a classic white Burgundy and reminded me what all the fuss is about, but still at an affordable price. This was delicious and really impressive. A great bottle. CHP 91 points -

May 29, 2021 - Domaine Coche-Bizouard 2016 Bourgogne Chardonnay
I detected oatmeal with a yeasty saline character. Full bodied with a rich and spicy character it is ameliorated with a streak of lemon and citrus and perhaps a little green pear. It’s refreshing and complex, and although not top drawer it is a superb entry level white Burgundy. Highly recommended. 89 points -
