Community Tasting Notes 4

January 20, 2024 - Notes of black cherry and slate. Mouthfeel is silky smooth. Tannins are fine. Acidity is medium/medium-plus. Overall, this a well made village Burgundy.

June 8, 2023 - Red fruit/berries and some oak on the nose. Medium to full bodied, smooth and supple, quite powerful and robust for a PN, showing red fruit/berries with a bit of spicy notes and heat on the finish. Very nice with duck breast at Celebrity Constellation.

August 14, 2020 - Nicer bottle than the one had at Ruth Chris. Lighter shade of garnet with a bouquet of cherries with very nice purity, some stems, and very little wood influence. Palate has correct acidity, light tannins, and again cherry flavors with skins and stems without being over extracted. Finishes short to medium with some light wood emerging. This is a pretty village wine with clean fruit and smooth palate which makes it a great lunch wine.

August 11, 2020 - At Ruth Chris in Ponte Vedra FL. Color is a garnet red. Bouquet was a bit muted with some red fruits hints. Palate was fine tannins with cherry pits coming through and light acidity. Finished on the short side with some dried fruits. Very mellow wine with hints at the darker Gevrey character but not quite there.
