October 20, 2023 - Aging absolutely gracefully. There is no indication of oxidation in the color. There's no orange rim, there's no brick red color. In the glass, it looks like a brand new fresh Pinot Noir.

However, on the nose, you will immediately find some intensely secondary and tertiary aromatic notes! The first thing that greets me is a certain shaved pencil / graphite no. Along with blackberries, blueberries, and a certain baking spice element with a little bit of cinnamon nutmeg and clove.

Overall this wine is rich, sophisticated, and absolutely approachable.

My overall impression of this wine is that it is a wine of luxurious stature. Absolutely fit for the most prestigious of events, or fit to impress the most discerning of connoisseur palates.

Overtime it opens up into some beautiful cocoa, mocha, blueberry compote notes. The acid is still absolutely in balance and the flavors crescendo into a broad, long finish. Stupendous!

September 10, 2023 - Decanted off modest, but real "I don't want that stuff in my glass" sediment. 30' later we're really enjoying this bottle: red > black fruit, spice and earth notes on a really nice texture. Now-2026.

June 25, 2021 - Boy is this good. Thick, rich, and deep. I wouldn’t have picked this as a Pinot because of its color and full body. Solid ripe black cherry in the lead with some earth and oak. Super, super long finish.
