Community Tasting Notes 1

October 27, 2018 - {screwcap, 13.5%} Mid yellow, but still with a green flash. The nose is just a little developed, with ripe notes of peach, oak, butter. It does smell a little sweet. The palate is dry from an RS perspective, sure, but has sweet oak and a buttery malo character to give it plenty of presence. Fruit salad flavours, always with an oaky sandalwood character; the wild yeast & lees aging claimed on the back label isn't all that evident on the medium/full-bodied palate. Medium acid, with presence on the front and back palate, but less in the middle. Medium length finish, but built on oak more than anything. Ready now.
