April 23, 2023 - Medium- bodied, traditional and modern styling, high quality natural cork.
Dark meaty Pinot Noir here, but not full-bodied or gamey. Fruit profile reminds a bit of Santenay with black and blue stewed elements, and dry herb garrigue tones like inland Sonoma such as Forestville. There is a smokiness that feels like wood-fired bird. While dark, the mentholated mid-palate gives it a refreshing lift that calls for another sip. Finish is mostly visceral - could expand a bit; and nose is fleeting, but no way is this wine unsatisfying. Expected good and got better. -

April 3, 2022 - Darker in profile than typical. Dark, lush berries. Reminds me a bit of Benovia. Short finish day one but improves nicely overnight.

May 23, 2020 - Wonderful expressive nose of cherries, some dark and sweet, some red and tart. A little bit of pepper and spice as well. A big rich Pinot with a smooth mouthfeel and medium finish. This is a great wine.
