March 26, 2021 - This doesn't quite do it for me. Quite richly fruited on the nose, with lanolin, but the palate is a little too overtly salty, and there's a hint of root beer (which I dislike). Body and acidity are both unimpeachable but this wine doesn't pass the deliciousness test.

May 16, 2020 - Intense nose of ripe yellow fruit (apples, peaches, plums), light tropical and floral notes, very pleasant and convincing. Concentrated and dense palate with very high yet rounded acidity, notes of apples and hay, very intense, but maybe one-dimensional now. Long citrus aftertaste. Would be interesting to see how it develops.

    January 5, 2020 - 12,5% alcohol and 7,7 g/l acidity. Bottle #1249 out of total 4866 bottles. Tasted blind.

Medium-deep and quite intense neon yellow-green color. Nuanced and slightly sweet-toned nose of acacia honey, woolly lanolin, some juicy ripe pear tones, a little bit of cantaloupe, light rowanberry marmalade notes, a hint of honeydew and a touch honeysuckle. The wine is bright, racy and steely on the palate with medium body and acid-driven flavors of tart lemony citrus fruits, pithy grapefruit bitterness, some tangy green apples, a little bit of cantaloupe and a crunchy hint of star fruit. The mouthfeel is slightly oily and viscous, which tones the bracing acidity down a little bit. The finish is long, crisp and lively with refreshing and slightly neutral flavors of steely minerality, pithy grapefruit, some cool wet stones, a little bit of tangy salinity and a hint of chalk.

A very crisp, focused and racy white that is not unlike a fresh Muscadet with its somewhat lean, neutral and very mineral-driven flavors and bracing acidity. Still very youthful, but it's hard to say whether the wine will gain any further complexity with more cellar age. I wouldn't say the wine is a particularly good purchase at 33€, since you can get 3-4 bottles of great Muscadet for the same price.

January 13, 2019 - White pulp fruits, lime, unripe grapefruit, tangy, slight note of salty mineral. Nice acidity. Good weight and concentration.
