April 11, 2024 - Incredibly round while offering tropical fruits with ample acidity and an almost floral sweetness. Further in the glass you’ll find a hint of smoke and a minerality that reminds me of wet seashells. The complexity is remarkable. The smoke note in particular was a revelation!

July 25, 2022 - Excellent Riesling, hints of sweet with acidity, balanced and complex.

Honeysuckle, green apple, mineralogy, acidity, finishes with some pineapple and a touch of lemon. Very complex and aged beautifully. A

October 9, 2019 - The site has always been know to make extremely long lasting wines. 750 to almost 900 feet above sea level. The vineyard is at a 50 degree angle and is terraced because of that.

Darn that is super tasty Riesling. Loads of texture and still has good energy, lively stuff.

November 8, 2018 - The single vineyard in the region. And this is current vintage as well. 9 g/L of RS. But tons of acidity I am being told. Has a bit of that old Riesling smell to it. Palate is kinda empty to me. But I acidentally blew through my taste too.

April 19, 2018 - Lucien Albrecht Tasting (Primrose - Washington, DC): Gorgeous aromatics of peaches, nectarines, tennis balls, honey. On the palate, this is richly textured but so crisp and delicious. Juicy fruit but deep mineral presence. Lots of life ahead for this beauty.
